A really very good hotel in the old town of Hitzacker. 5 minutes from the Elbe. Breakfast is great.

Super great room, big as a two-room apartment. Comfortable wide bed, great view. Bathroom as big as my living room, with radio. Very friendly welcome. On the other hand, I found the advertised breakfast buffet to be too poor and ordinary.

Hotel is great. Good facilities, very clean and comfortable. However, the way to the breakfast café is not feasible with a wheelchair or rollator, as a wooden bridge has to be crossed ...

Quiet location. Very clean room. During Corona times we feel very well looked after. A good hygiene concept. The picturesque location promises relaxation, especially in these turbulent times. The nature around you is unique.

We got under the pretext that we had not confirmed the confirmation (haha) not the booked room (suite with double balcony), but the last remaining room on the parking lot level, for almost the same price. There was no apology and otherwise one had the feeling that we could be grateful to be able to live here at all. Four stars ? Not the staff !! The bathroom was not wiped clean, there was a "sergeant" in the breakfast room who, citing "Corona", wanted to force us into a windowless room just because he did not want to re-cover a table that had become vacant by the window (two cups, plates and two Cutlery = 2 minutes). Everything is far too brittle for a vacation in this beautiful landscape! And too expensive ... I've seen that 100 times better. Conclusion: that was the first and last time.

Rooms would actually be good. However, spider plague. Killed eight fat spiders in the bedroom alone. On the balcony there were at least 40 others with abdomen the size of thumbnails

Very decent and cleanly managed! Great rooms for people who love it generously. Price-performance ratio fits!

Great location, right on the water

We were there for two from May 20-21, 2019, had booked through HRS. The main house had been advertised, we were accommodated in a very small chamber above the cafe / restaurant in the old building on the other side of the river. We were advised to make a reservation for dinner, and it turned out that we were the only guests. The food was good, the disappointment about the room remained!

The rooms are more like apartments. Super spacious, super comfortable, very friendly staff. The food in the hotel restaurant is very tasty. A small but no choice. Today we had wedding and pumpkin potato soup, pike-perch on savoy cabbage-orange-ginger-vegetables and wild sour meat with fried potatoes ... everything in the very finest quality. That is the journey and the visit always worth it !!!!!

Very well maintained hotel, hotel room 202 consists of hall, bedroom, large bathroom, large living room, guest toilet. TV in the living room and in the bedroom, balcony to the river side. Main house ground floor and two floors with elevator. Restaurant for breakfast is located on opposite side via bridge to reach. Those who are not well on foot should book rooms above the restaurant. There is an apartment house next to the restaurant, the upper floor has a balcony, the lower one has a terrace

For reasonable money! The room consists of a living room with a terrace, 2 bathrooms, a corridor bedroom. Eating medium better somewhere to jump into the city
